Description
Stevia powder is derived from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant, native to South America. It is a natural, high-intensity sweetener that serves as an alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners, being up to 300 times sweeter than sugar. The product is a white fine powder (80 mesh), standardized for stevioside content ranging from 70% to 98% (HPLC method). It exhibits high thermal stability and good solubility in water, making it suitable for use in a wide range of food and beverage products. Stevia is non-fermentable and does not affect product stability.
