Description
Alpha-Glucosyl Hesperidin Powder is a modified form of hesperidin, a flavonoid naturally found in citrus fruits. It is obtained by the enzymatic addition of a glucose unit to hesperidin, which significantly increases its water solubility (from approximately 0.01 g/100 mL to over 50 g/100 mL at room temperature). The product is a pale yellow to yellow-brown powder, odorless. It is stable within a pH range of 3.5 to 8.0 and does not decompose below 80°C. The enhanced solubility and stability make it a valuable ingredient for various manufacturing processes where ease of incorporation and property retention are required. Purchasers should consider specifications regarding active substance content and product stability.
Applications
Utilized in the production of cosmetic products, functional beverages, and food items to enhance stability and bioavailability.
