Description

Lutein esters are a natural carotenoid widely found in plants such as marigolds, pumpkins, and cabbage. Marigolds are particularly rich in lutein, where it is present as esters with fatty acids. Our product is a microencapsulated powder of lutein esters, ensuring its stability and ease of use, especially in dry food products. Various specifications for active substance content are available (e.g., 5%, 10%, 20%). Microencapsulation improves dispersibility and protects lutein from oxidation. For purchasers, standardization by lutein concentration, product purity, and compliance with food ingredient requirements, as well as the availability of quality and safety certificates, are crucial.

Applications

Used in the production of functional foods, nutraceuticals, and dietary supplements. Applied as a yellow pigment and a component for product enrichment.
