Description
Rhodiola extract powder is obtained from the roots of rhodiola. The raw material can be Rhodiola crenulata or Rhodiola rosea. The main active components are salidroside (for Rhodiola crenulata) and rosavins combined with salidroside (for Rhodiola rosea). The product is available in various specifications, for example, salidroside 1-98% or rosavins 3% and salidroside 1%. Solubility varies: some forms are insoluble in water but soluble in methanol and ethanol, while others have 100% water solubility. Standardization is performed by HPLC method. The choice of specification depends on the requirements for the final product. Manufacturers need to consider solubility and the percentage of active ingredients for optimal integration into formulations. Supplied with ISO, HALAL, KOSHER certifications.
