Description

Arabino Galactan is a neutral polysaccharide composed of arabinose and galactose, found in significant quantities in the xylem of conifers, particularly larch. The product is extracted from wood flour with water and supplied as a white powder with 96% purity. The content ratio of L-arabinose to D-galactose is typically 1:5-6. Its molecular structure features numerous branches, where the β-1,3-bonded arabinose side chain is attached to the β-1,3 or β-1,6-bonded galactose chain. Arabino Galactan is highly soluble in water, facilitating its incorporation into various manufacturing processes. For purchasers, product stability and adherence to stated specifications, supported by documentation, are crucial.
